I think Scooby understood that I didn't want to let go and he  took the final decision out of my hands at 10.30pm tonight.

For the few months that we were lucky enough to have him back living with us again, we found him an absolute joy. He was gentle and loving but with such bravado. He tried his best to put it over Doogle and Lugar, and even Maverick, but with the continuous wagging of his tail they knew he wasn't serious and that he just wanted someone to play with him. And play they did.

Scooby,  you touched us all with your strength and your courage. You will always have a very special place in our hearts.

Thank you for allowing us the honour of knowing and loving you.

There were not as many days as I would have liked,  But what we had gave him happy times and me memories to cherish.

Rest in peace beautiful boy.

We all love you and will miss you.   -   Everyone at Feldjaeger

He was a fantastic mate and he will be sadly missed. I will never forget that cheeky grin he used to get on his face and how he would always jump up on me when I came home from work.

David, James and Zoe.

We won't ever forget Scooby and will remember him as the dog who would stagger over to lick Jordan's hand when he cried, as the dog who was happy just to be inside lying at your feet and as the scoundrel who was able to put mad Maverick in his place with his tail still wagging.  Once he even managed to jump up on the trampoline to play with Jordan and Maverick!

We were so very lucky and privileged to have Scooby stay with us twice.  Although the time was short Scooby was a lovely addition to our family.

The fact that he passed on with you by his side is the greatest gift any dog can
give his owner.

At peace he rests now
